Overview
Overview ANGE is a digital government platform designed to modernize administrative services for Gabonese citizens living abroad. The platform centralizes public administrative procedures into a single secure portal, allowing users to submit applications, upload supporting documents, monitor the progress of their requests and communicate with the relevant public authorities entirely online. By replacing paper-based procedures with digital workflows, ANGE simplifies interactions between citizens and public administrations while improving efficiency, accessibility and service quality. ANGE supports Gabon's digital transformation by making public services available beyond national borders and strengthening the connection between the State and its diaspora.
WHY ANGE
This model often results in lengthy processing times, repeated travel, document loss, duplicate records and limited visibility into the progress of applications. For members of the Gabonese diaspora, these challenges are amplified by the geographical distance separating them from public administrations and consular services.
Results
Not implemented.
The ANGE project proposal was submitted to the relevant Gabonese authorities on two separate occasions. Despite these submissions, the initiative did not receive the institutional approval or support required to move forward. The project therefore remained at the proposal stage and was not implemented.
